The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo
The Q Revo is a good option if you're looking to buy a mid-priced robot vacuum and mop. It's a great mopping performance but lacks certain of the more advanced features found in its more expensive counterpart.
During tests it was able to eliminate pet hair and dry oats from medium-pile carpets. However, unlike other models, it doesn't use LIDAR to map out your home.
Roomba s9+ from iRobot
The iRobot Roomba S9+ robot vacuum is one of the most highly-rated robots. It has impressive cleaning power and numerous features, including an automatic dirt bin built into its charging base. This robot can also learn your habits of cleaning and suggest schedules that are automatic to provide a hands-free and effortless experience.
The iRobot Home App guides you through the setup process. Once everything is connected, you can start the automated cleaning functions with the push of a button. You can select an overall clean that emphasizes the removal of large debris such as cereal and rice or two thorough mappings of your space to ensure your entire home gets a proper look.
This robot vacuum performs well on both floors with no carpet and carpets with low pile. It is able to pick up pet hair and also suck large items up. It doesn't lose its suction as fast as some other robot vacuums. It's a challenge with carpets that are high-pile or plush however, iRobot says that future models will be better.
The S9+ features a new design from iRobot that concentrates on enhancing edge and corner cleaning. It's the first Roomba to adopt an open-fronted, flat-fronted design, which it hopes will allow it to fit into furniture and walls. It's a great improvement over the hockey puck-like design of most robovacs, though we discovered it to be only marginally better than circular models.
iRobot also claims that the S9+ comes with a superior filter system that prevents microscopic dust particles and allergens from recirculating within your home. We like the statement but not enough to justify a premium price.

In terms of the mopping system, I was amazed by its ability to scrub hard dirt off my floors. Its two lowest mopping modes that are less aggressive than the high-powered ones, create little noise, allowing you to work or even watch television without interruption. If it comes across a wall or piece of furniture, it gently bumps into it and then moves along.
What really distinguishes the Q Revo apart is that it's designed to run nearly completely autonomously, requiring only a little for human intervention. The robo-vac comes with a multi-function dock that can automatically transfer physical trash to the bin hidden from view and cleans and drys the mop pads and refills its clean water tank. The app will only alert you if something is wrong, such as low water levels or a cancelled vacuuming session due to the bin being full.
You can also create or combine actual rooms to personalize the way Q Revo handles your home. This feature is helpful when you have different flooring in different areas of your house or in the event that you have to regularly clear out clutter such as clothes, toys, and books. The robo-vac is also efficient and was one of the top performers in my tests, taking debris from carpets as well as hardwoods in its first run. It can also remove wet spills, though I recommend drying them with a damp cloth prior to sending the robot in.
3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni
The X2 Omni has all of the features you'd want from a premium robot vacuum and mop and more. Like the iRobot Roomba S9+, it is a top-quality vacuum that has a powerful suction to clean carpet and hard floors, as well as the mop's rotating design that can scrub tough stains. The X2 Omni also has a more intuitive voice assistant and an app that works even when you're at home. It also comes with more mopping modes and an intelligent routing feature that gives it the flexibility to clean specific rooms or areas of your house instead of just following a specific route.
The X2 Omni is the top mopping robot. Its mop pads that rotate remove tough stains and its motor creates lots of downward pressure. Its vacuuming is excellent as well and it increases suction when it senses carpet to ensure it's doing an excellent job. It is equipped with a large rechargeable battery that lasts up to a week. The mopping mode of the robot is also very effective.
4. Dreametech L10s Ultra
The Dreametech L10s Ultra is a premium mop and robot vacuum that comes with a host of convenience features that you do not often find on robots of this price range. It can create precise floor maps and recognize different flooring types. It's also among the few robots that can automatically clean and dry its mop pad. Although these features are useful however, they also push more info the L10s Ultra into the luxury category and could mean it's slightly more expensive than the average homeowner require.
Created to look like a modern floor cleaner designed to look like a modern floor cleaner, the L10s Ultra is a tall and slim machine with an elegant white finish that's accented by silver elements and mirror plating. The front of the machine is dominated by an enormous bumper, which protects furniture and vacuum cleaners from damage when moving through the home.
